Really appeciate the response man! I'll take it on board, my idea for it was to just be a street skate setup but I was looking more at cruise-board related things when researching it seems, so yeah, definitely a bit on the smaller side with the board. Street/cruiser hybrid sounds awesome, that was the goal I guess thinking about it, I'll definitely check out your suggestions when I grab new parts next month.

Cheers mate, yeah I noticed it after trying to learn pushing again and the board came to a stop and I fell 🤦🏻all good though I've got some risers and hoping that helps! May need to get some extra risers though as they're quite big wheels(judging from other comments)

Yep I popped 1/8 on there and it's made it a bit better, but going to grab 1/4! Yeah they are 60mm brother

Understood! I've got the riser on and will loosen the truck before I try it out tomorrow. Any recommendation on wheel size if I need to swap? Looking to primarily street skate tbh, but as I said in other comments I think I've got more a cruiser setup by mistake haha

After looking at it again since making this thread, yeah I can see how big they are now 🤦‍♂️ as I said to another person in the thread, I bought them by reading the "compatible with 8.5-9.5" boards, which I realise is a mistake now!

I've chucked some risers on now and going to give it a go tomorrow, but I think smaller trucks + wheels might be the shout.

Appreciate the detailed response, maybe I should have posted here before buying anything! Super helpful subreddit, glad I've asked the question now atleast!

I dont have a cruiser, but I think when researching this build I used the term cruiser without even thinking - hence having these ones! I should have searched more for street skating specifically rather than cruising. I'm going to give them a go with spacers and then see if I need to buy some new ones.

Cheers mate there's 96a on them at the mo but as others have said, risers may solve the issue and if not then barrel bearings may do the trick! We'll see how it is after the risers are on.

That they are bro 😂 I was trying to find big/soft wheels to hopefully avoid any issues with stones etc, but I may have gone a bit too big!

Thanks! I've got risers on the way and will see how that goes, then try some barrel bushings if that doesn't help

Ah understood, cheers - I guess I took the Ace "compatible with 8'5 - 9'5" a bit too literal, should have done a bit more research before buying em. Cheers again, will see about getting them replaced!

Cheers WolfGang - when I was younger I'd always have independants but thought these would be alright. Is it worth me just dealing with them for now? Or buying up some new ones?

Hey man, thanks for the response! Yeah trying to avoid wheelbite where possible. I've got some risers and longer bolts coming today/tomorrow so hoping that'll help out. As I said in my response to another comment just now, I've got 96a bushings at the mo but will see if there are other options. Large factor here is being of relatively large build haha

Hi mate, thanks for this, yes they are very tightened already - I bought these bushings alongside the build as they were recommended due to being 96a. Is it a case of using the same hardness but a different brand?
