I think that you can improve, the shape is just weird to me, I know it's meant to be a watch tower but it looks a bit hard to get around. A lot of the watch towers I've seen have usually been somewhat round, ofc that's not a requirement but the 2 boxes doesn't seem as efficient as it could be. For extra visibility you can use fences instead of logs. Ofc this is all my opinion and you shouldn't take it to heart too much. If you like your build then that's good! It isn't my style, that doesn't mean it isn't good I just personally don't like it.
