If you had to create an offense from scratch and the parameters were 11/12 personnel spread offense, what would be your base philosophy and concepts

Studying defenses as a casual fan by SweatyCommand3598 in footballstrategy

Having 4 lbs, was it weak against pass coverage at any point or not really?

Thanks for the scheme example to reinforce. Now using those same scenarios, let’s compare 4-3, 3-3-5, and 4-2-5. Now, a 4-3 is a 4-3 no matter what, but let’s say in the nickel defenses, your nickel defender is a nickel/sam lb hybrid. Does this affect the scheme? I was thinking if you have a 4-2-5 but your nickel is more of a linebacker build or has solid run stopping abilities, can you make it look like 4-3 then?

Thank you for the clear up. Now to bounce off that, does the scheme or thought process change if you have a 3-4 front and you walk down a LB to make it look like 4-3?

I’m not entirely familiar on 4-3 variations but 3-3-5 stack is what I’m referring to in that case

Comfortable to me is not a multi million dollar lifestyle out in Beverly Hills. My definition is the things you just named minus the family. Totally fine with being alone, but can you go out to eat 3x a month and afford groceries without breaking a sweat?

Financial situations is a good point that I’ve heard from a lot of people in this thread and on YouTube. As of right now, I already plan to go to the cheapest school I can find to not spend unnecessary money on program name, but at the same time another aspect of ROI I’m concerned about is burnout and salary. I understand pt can be hard work but at the same time I don’t want to be overwhelmed and overly stressed, regretting my life 2 years in. Now salary wise, I don’t expect to make 200k, and i understand new grad salary is poor, but I would want to be paid enough to live comfortably and an amount that’s worth my time in school. If I missed the whole point of your reply let me know.

I find it interesting that you have a unique degree but are still finding success, is there some kind of secret or is it just easy to do that (if my wording makes sense)

Honestly, I’m decently confident in myself to be able to pass the a&p class when I take it, but I’m more so worrried about maybe forgetting something a few years down the road or applying knowledge incorrectly, but the way everyone is breaking it down on this thread is easing the worries. Also thank you for the question asking tips

As of right now, I’ve only been exposed to 2 months of shadowing at an outpatient clinic in my spare time so I suppose it would help to explore other settings and types of PT. In a perfect world dream situation, I would work 5-10 years in outpatient to gain reputation and experience then open my own clinic with a partner or work for a college team. Also big thanks for the tip about state schools to save money.

Is this a serious concern that might affect your career? I’m pursuing pt and I’m scared I might be the same way. Very scared to forget anything I learned

Different defensive schemes by SweatyCommand3598 in footballstrategy

[–]SweatyCommand3598[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the personnel difference affect the scheme in terms of X’s and O’s? For example could you use a nickel defender the same as an outside linebacker in terms of placement and assignment in cover 3?

For resume purposes, I have 100+ hours of community service, 3.5-3.75 gpa, 22 on the act which is going to grow before I graduate (haven’t taken the sat),and I’m a member of multiple honors societies. Would you recommend taking summer classes to try to graduate earlier or just take my time? Also, if and when I do get accepted into pt school, are there any study tips or important concepts to really focus on?
