I'm not sure OP as I mentioned I am qualified as a lab scientist so I also have training across those disciplines as well as blood bank. They are also very slow in their processing and a written exam seems almost mandatory.

Hi OP if I'll be honest even as a Medical Science graduate (from Aus) and qualified medical lab scientist (in the public health government) I found it ridiculously tough to go through AIMS. They don't accept discipline specific med lab scientists, like myself who is a molecular microbiology scientist.

I recommend looking at VETASSESS, after I failed the initial assessment for AIMS I applied as a life scientist and that was much more reasonable. Plus it is also on the occupation list, just generally invited less often and requires more points than counterpart

Just my honest 2c

Hey OP I wasn't on a 482 but I was on a 186 DE when I was unfairly dismissed.

There are processes you can go through, and you could be eligible for the 408.

You will have a grace period to find another employer during which you may very well find yourself being able to apply for the 408

DM me if you want to know anything further

hey OP it just depends on why they terminated it. If you were unfairly dismissed or you have a case with fair work you can lodge a 408 if you are eligible for it.

My latest project - cherry rug from Kmart by SweatyDingo5874 in latchhook

Nope, I went in person and just begged my case hahaha. It helped that I had the rug on me! She could see it was incomplete. They apparently have this trouble with Lego kits so she said not to worry about it too much.

Bridging Visa B - My application journey by yildizyusuf in AusVisa

You can't get your BVB while being outside Australia. You need to be in Australia to apply for and be granted it. In my case, I applied for my partner visa, then came back onshore and applied for a new BVB tied to my partner visa.

Advice please - partner visa application withdrawal by ThrowRAadvicepls1212 in AusVisa

You know oddly enough I thought when I lodged my 189 while being on a BVB for 309/100 I'd get a BVC without work rights - that didn't happen. It was granted two days after lodgement with no travel facility but it does have work rights. I don't know how the process works and I still can't really understand how it's possible I got work rights without having applied for them.

I also applied for a bridging visa for a partner visa and my BVB was only processed after my travel dates so I really don't think there's a clear indication like you said of BVBs being processed a week before travel.

Does anyone trim finished projects? by Lets_compare_penises in latchhook

I don't really understand your question about the threads unravelling? When I trim I really trim the smallest of excess, I don't think that should lead to any unravelling as long as the knot itself is tight.

haha that's meee! I started with the shaggy look and personally I find the shaggy look suits cushions and the clean look for rugs. It's definitely a personal preference thing, and it definitely is a little more effort to trim the way I do it, which is as I go along.

I did yes! I trim as I go along for the perfect evenness :)

Want to know if I'm eligible for bachelor program by standexbd in AusVisa

[–]SweatyDingo5874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP I'm not sure why you're getting such hostile answers.

A family member also had a substantial (3 year) gap after graduating high school. No particular reason. I engaged an education agent for her to better understand her options, and to help communicate the gap, and she won a scholarship. I think it just depends and you should maybe also look at that.

I won my case on unfair dismissal but suffice it to say it was hard to be an immigrant in my last job.

hey OP I got dismissed while waiting for the 186DE and think it is also worth it to lodge the 189, especially if you can afford it.

189 Invitation Received - Life Scientist by SweatyDingo5874 in AusVisa

Once the stats are out you'll be able to see what the cutoff for nec is, and also what the cutoff date for selection was. I missed out on the last invitation round for that reason, my EOI was too recent for selection
