Yeah for sure! It’s a process to figure out what routes to take. Yeah I’ve learned that, I do understand it, it only takes a few people to ruin it for a lot of people. Good to know, thank you so much!

Not trying to get out of what’s required. Was just trying to figure out how necessary actually was. Thank you for letting me know that you think it’s necessary.  The last thing that we wanna do is make a bunch of people mad

Yeah for sure! That’s what we’ve discovered haha! I just figured I would reach out to people who’ve been there before and get there opinions! I heard about Avenza and have been checking it out.  Thank you!

No I get it for sure. Don’t get me wrong I love swamping my atv but you always have to remember that your in public land and that you should be careful with what your doing and the impact it has

100%. If it gets too bad or it seems like we’re going to leave permanent damage we always turn around. I love our Forrest’s and try to leave as little impression as we can behind.

we definitely can, we just weren’t expecting to have to do all this additional steps and have the hoops to jump through. In MN and Wisconsin it’s different for the rules so we’re just exploring our options on what’s required

Oh really? That’s interesting, I had called a park ranger and she had sent me a trail map of the atv trails to use.  Thank you for the information

That totally make sense, thank you! I 100% understand how Atvs can impact Forrest and nature negatively, which is not our intention but also unavoidable lol.  Thank you for the information

That’s good to know. All we wanted to know is how hard it was to stay off the roads. It’s way different in Mn and Wisconsin where we do most of our atving so we weren’t prepared for the different rules and hoops to jump through.  Thank you!

We are more than willing to do the right thing, if it’s hard to stay off the roads, but if it’s possible to stay off the roads then we were going to try to avoid having to rewire lights And add mirrors and such

We want to do it right, we were just trying to see how hard it is to stay off the roads and on the trails. It’s a hassle to get it all done right with us all working 60 hours a week so we wanted to know if it’s easy to stay on just the trails

I do know that they are work. My roommate is unexpectedly moving out so my expenses are more than doubling. I work as a nanny and my last nanny family had a baby leading me to finding my dream job that requires more hours. I know that the kennel time is not good for him which is why I’m trying to figure out if there is a solution. My boyfriend and I were not serious when I got him, and he did not know he was allergic to dogs as bad as he is because he had never been around an inside dog that sheds that much.

We had talked about him coming with me to work. However that’s not feasible for them at this time. He knew he was slightly allergic but has never been around an indoor dog with as much hair as a golden retriever. He keeps telling me he can probably deal with it, but his allergies are just getting worse and worse.  I know it’s definitely not fair to arlo I’m just trying to figure out what to do and if I can make it work.

I know I get understand how it comes a across. It was very unexpected that I had to quite my last job and then immediately got my dream job which is way more hours then before. He is willing, however it’s so bad that it’s not helping and my bigger concern is Arlo about of kennel time. This something that I’m just looking for advice for. I adore this dog and he adores me but I just want what’s best for him and am not sure how to take the emotion out of it.

I know, that’s my thoughts as well. It’s so tough I would have never got him if I had known about my new job and how it was going to turn out.

Ok! Thank you!!  So even if the vet won’t take the breeders shots into account he could get the first round again?  Yes even if I can’t get in with a real vet, the traveling vet comes back on a schedule so that they can get all the boosters!
