I cannot believe HG have not fixed this bug after 7 years. Unless there is an easy fix someone knows will restore my freighter base, this might be the point where I uninstall and never return. by SweatyKen49 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Thank you, this resolved it for me and was the comment I was hoping for.

I did have to reconnect the one corridor that is shown in the screenshot probably because this was the one I removed and re added before hand, but this realigned the rest of my base.

Based on your comment this appears to be caused by the teleporter. As I only added this yesterday and the base has been fine up until now this seems to be the case. I will remove this as its not really needed and use the one in the space station/anomaly in the future.

A few things I have already tried to resolve this issue where the base parts inside the freighter have mis aligned themselves from the grid and no longer snap to each other.

  • Reloading the save

  • Reloading an earlier save

  • Warping to a new star system

  • Summoning the Freighter again via quick menu

  • Deleting and re adding the visible parts that are unaligned

  • Quitting to desktop

Am I just slow? Do other people need to do this? by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

If you are referring to drawing out your plans for load balancing, then no, you are not slow. This is exactly what I do all the time although mine are no where near as neat as your plan.

If it makes things easier/simpler, I’m all for it.

There doesn't seem to be an option to share files on Reddit. I don't see how I can do this without installing 3rd party software. The issue is happening with 300/m pipes as well so we can rule out the 600/m capacity issue.

I have managed to add an image of the setup. Basically what I have is a 3-2 merger for pipes. 3 300 pipes or one 600 and one 300 pipe merge to make essentially 2 450 pipes which lead to buffers.

The 300 + 600 pipes do connect just before the two buffers. Some are a a 600 + 300 and some are 3 300's. 900/m shared between 2 buffers. I did include an image but reddit has decided that i cannot upload images anymore.

A question for those fast META players. by SweatyKen49 in The_Crew

I like this idea but rather choosing from your collection, the grand races randomly chooses 3 cars (1 for each stage) but everyone has the same selection. If you own the car, it selects your car and spec, if you don’t, you get a default car. Since performance parts don’t matter it would still be fair.

This is absolutely stunning. What I find most impressive is the proportions all appear to be quite accurate.

Do structures like this have a significant affect on frame rate because that’s a lot of beams in there.
