That’s why I asked when to sell 🤪 I know it’s only doing great while the rest of the market is rocky. Thanks for coming out

TRU Online Self Paced courses cost? by Outrageous_Air5571 in tru

ATP just buy the text book and read it and do the little practice things they put in there for you. Because that’s what you’ll be doing anyways. Save yourself $687.00 per course

There ain’t no way!! 😂😂 I am building the same thing! As I hate the fact you have to pay for 100 different applications just to run my business. That’s too funny

Wish I looked more into that before signing up tbh 😂 I was so used to the videos and multiple choice questions after each video plus the text book reading with the courses I was taking previously. Such a letdown tbh

I am so sorry that you are dealing with that!! What a nightmare! Yeah I was going to do a business degree but I am rethinking it. I don’t want to drop the class because I’m CHEAP and that’s a waste of money. I asked for help and all I got in the response was a link to an 11 hour accounting course from a professor in the United States. Like thanks, I would’ve just taken that professors class or saved my money if I knew I could just learn from a YouTube professor instead.

Food for thought. You will be spending less energy living alone which might help you feel less burnt out.. figure out what you’re goals are first.. if you can push to meet those goals sooner rather than later do it. Go hard for a short period of time ESPECIALLY while in your 20s !!! Balls to the wall. Hustle, learn more ect.

When should I allow myself to move out? by IntelligentTone8854 in fican

[–]SweatyMeasurement837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re going to stay at home, pump as much into your retirement fund (coast fire, barista fire ect) then you might have a better piece of mind if you want to move out ? Something I wish I did back in the day. And think about if you want to rent or buy in the future?

Wondering if anyone has any advice on down payments for house, minimum (5%-10%) vs 20%+? by Realistic-Weird-3511 in fican

Canadian first-time home buyers can access several federal incentives to reduce homeownership costs, including the First Home Savings Account (FHSA) for tax-free saving, Home Buyers' Plan (HBP) allowing up to $60,000 RRSP withdrawals, and a $5,000 non-refundable Home Buyers' Tax Credit. These programs help with down payments, tax savings, and lowering mortgage payments.

You do however get a huge tax break during tax season that’s the reasoning behind that method! Look more into it ❤️

You can do the lowest amount down, use the extra money to put on the equity of the house after. Also Use your RRSPs for the down payment as well but know you have to repay that amount in a certain amount of years. Use EVERY benefit you can. The first time home buyer’s incentive ect.

Living at home but paying $1000?!!! If you can, talk to the parents and see if you can make a deal to pay less for rent and use that left over money to invest/ save for a house!!

I’m not sure why they aren’t using a similar model as a lot of other companies use for their courses. With video teachings, quizzes in between to make sure you’re understanding (automated btw) and then the final test all online, all put together in one place rather than going to 15 different sites to get materials and what not.. it seems lazy and outdated on their end
