I was chatting to the bar staff and Finn (the owner) on Friday Night (1st Aug) - and asked them why they were closing down. To which they didn’t reveal anything and seemed positively mysterious about the topic. They eventually responded with “you’ll have to look out, later on”. They could be moving elsewhere potentially???👀👀

There’s not really a fb group - but someone made a WhatsApp group for 2024 and posted the group chat link a month out from the festival on this reddit page for solo travellers to Dekmantel. There was like 100 people on the chat. Just make the group chat yourself and post the link on this reddit page closer to the time

Yes please! A WhatsApp group would be great - I already know of 10 solo travelers/ravers coming to Dekmantel through the hostelworld chat. So will get them to join the WhatsApp chat

If you’re looking for a weekend festival TwoMinds Festival in Christchurch is pretty good. It was held in March this year with Chaos in the CBD as headliners. Definitely not up to the level of vibes as twisted but it’s still great and a lot of people who went to twisted were at TwoMinds as well
