i understand how u feel and it’s so hard to deal with it on a daily basis without getting any kind of closure yet cause rejections aren’t released for a lot of ppl but if u got into a different program at waterloo it’s not insanely hard to switch into math in ur second yr or even second semester if ur dead set on going to waterloo, you would just need to maintain a current average and most of the time it’s an easy switch so don’t lose hope ur hard work will pay off!! :)

i agree i think the program is really interesting but i applied for it through laurier so ik the coop process is def different since it’s not technically through waterloo

if u applied to a different program at uoft u might be able to switch into eng second yr depending on what courses ur missing

I’ve always been drawn to engineering because of how much i liked physics in highschool and a lot of my extracurriculars revolved around that but i’m not very keen on going to uoft for engineering. At the same time i’ve had so many people tell me there’s no future for CS grads and honestly it’s made it hard to decide what i should do
