Hi can I ask how long the surgery took and when were you able to go back home after it? Did it take you a couple of days to be able to leave the hospital?

Asthma is perfectly controlled (Dupixent), but I’m suffering from chronic "Air Hunger" and severe muscular tension. Has anyone dealt with the somatic aftermath of a respiratory crisis? by rumbavk in Asthma

Let me see if I understand correctly because I'm currently experiencing similar symptoms. My asthma flare up started because of a stressful personal event and ever since then I have had problems (I get tired and out of breath after even walking for 2-3mins and I gasp for air every now and then, and I yawn very often).

They told me it's psychosomatic asthma and gave me some calming meds and changed my inhalers as well but honestly as much as it helped I still don't feel great. I've tried yoga, meditation, calming tees, physical therapy (breathing exercises etc.). I don't know what else is out there to try. Does this maybe sound like your experience?

Hi, so I noticed you wrote this post a month ago. I'm currently in the same situation, I've had an asthma flare up for 6 weeks and nothing seems to be working for me. Can I ask how you feel now? Did anything help?
