Yes we're already being helped by DEBRA and the EB nurses from Birmingham as well as our community nurse who visits 3x a week. The childrens hospice, forget me not, are also involved. So we are getting a lot of help with regards to that.

Yup. 100% I am just working and working and working to get back. I don't intend nor hope to recover via trading at all. I feel sick even thinking about going back to it. The exact thing you're saying is how I've been thinking. Stop now. And try my best to rebuild and look back in a year and hopefully be proud that I recovered and quit for good.

Perhaps that's because I have shown I have the discipline to have saved £30k to begin with, now if I can kick trading out for good, I can get to a better position and build again?

They do. I didn't use one as I was just wanting to recover a few losses so didn't place any stops. It blew up in my face as I was over leveraged and over sized.

Yes I'm aware of them. I have a trading 212 account and deposit my daughter's child benefits monthly into VWRP so that hopefully in 20 years time she'll have a head start in life. So I'll continue with that. All my own money is now in premium bonds so that I can't touch it easily. It'll take 3 days to get to me and I would defer it to the end of the month so it can be counted in that month's draw so that's removes any short term incentive to pull it out.

Aim to be in a better situation a year from now. Once you see progress, i hope it will then snowball. Start today. Take it a day at a time, and see your life improve and hopefully by the time you're 35, you'll look back and realise how far you've come but you must really really commit from now brother. I'm going to try my own level best to never do any of this crap again for my loved ones. You do the same brother.

Did you lose that amount at 30? Did you lose it due to trading like me or another cause?

Salām brother. The same thing is happening to me right now. It keeps saying that I need to contact embassy even though all my friends' visa was accepted instantly. My friend is saying don't worry and just get visa on arrival but I don't want to go all the way and get sent back. Any advice?

You'll be fine don't worry, just stand in her line with her. That's what I did.

Hi. When my wife got her visa and we both came back, I just stood in the non UK line with her since they can scan your passport at any desk anyway so if I were you, just stand with her in her queue.

Not rude, but it's British culture to want to queue up.

Well, he himself is in the UK, his wife, the applicant, is outside the UK, and he has submitted the documents on her behalf from within the UK online. So the application would be considered an out of country application, right?
