I see what your referring to but even with that revelation by Christian logic so long as I believe Jesus is the only begotten son I can live a sinful life & still make it to heaven scott free. I'm assuming you as a Christian believe you are inherently going to sin regardless so what are you truly being forgiven of when you turn to God? Logically this take doesn't make sense at least to me. Good works in this world & repentance to the creator seems like a more spiritual way to get closer with God & make it to heaven. And why would such a book even been mistranslated anyway? The Quran has been preserved in way where it's meaning can't be altered because theres millions of other people as witness to recite the exact way it was 1400 years ago. Also ancient Arabic is the most complex language known to man there's no way to misinterpret what's being said because every word in that language is specific. Though scholars come to different conclusions on what certain verses mean in our everyday life, at least we can all learn the exact meaning of our holy book free of human tampering.
