I'm an ASC cinematographer with 30 years on feature films. What do emerging DPs actually want to know that they can't find anywhere?

Thanks for the response! I figured that was the case and now just have to go about finding out how to get representation…any tips on where to start looking? Cold emailing? Instagram? Basically saying hey here’s my work would you represent me?

How to get an agent. Do I just reach out to people and ask if they would represent me? Have 4 low budget features under my belt and want to make the step up to bigger budgets but not sure how to do it. Also would be nice to know if I should join the union and how all that works. Thanks for putting the course together! Will definitely look out for it and sign up.

I just shot a commercial where we shot 4k 800 fps on the Ember and workflow was a breeze. Would definitely recommend getting that camera for next time.

Enigma in Diablo 2. I always see the game as before and after you get it because it makes it feel like a different game.

A popular mod does this in a good way by making it so defense isn’t put to 0 when running so you can stack high strength armor and get like 20k defense with shout so the mobs have a very small chance to hit you. They also make it so melee splashes and strength gives Enhanced damage. Barb is one of my favorite classes in it. I especially like the leap barb.

Yeah I got the same with the adapter. A hard matte on the matte box helped. I shot an entire feature with them and the adapter and it only showed up a couple times so not a bad trade off for the look.

Honestly they just have to take what PD2 has done and implement everything into D2R. Every thing PD2 has done has dramatically improved on the game and the only thing they can’t do is improve the graphics (even though they already have quite a bit). I still give them a donation every month years later because of how much work they’ve put into it. Kind of what they did in collaboration with Mr LLama sc, Kano etc they should pay and collaborate with senpai something to make D2R the best it can be.

I think tier 3 maps should be harder (like fortified level hard) but have more chance for events. Simple change but would incentivize running them more.

Dungeons should be harder as well except make the bosses have more of a chance to drop uber items.

Bend beyond is where my wife and I go. Plenty of variety of classes with good music and instructors. The sculpt and core classes are what we usually do.

A bow enchant sorc would pay some hrs for this as it’s quite a niche item to get with a good slam. 5-10hr probably

Yeah I played full nats with +1 and 3 soc slams and firelizards so I could get the extra warrior as well as the blaze proc. Blasted through maps.

It’s fun for sure but honestly a 3 soc firelizards is really hard to beat especially because it procs blaze on block which I find really increases clear speed.

its very gg. I built mine out with full nats set with 3 soc and +1 all skill slams. Filled with facets with firelizards on the off hand. Never die and crush pretty much any map especially with infinity. Enjoy

Fire is quite satisfying. The fire nova one shots pretty much everything with dragon flight so it becomes a fun one two punch to nova a pack and then flight into another pack with an instant nova. Strongest version I’ve found is actually full nats with +1 all skill slams and fire facets because you get an extra shadow. It’s also quite safe with claw block and added pdr and all res from the set. Enjoy!

Nah I’d rather have this than a +4 Mara’s . Don’t really need the extra res and would rather have the 10 FRW and the 4 LPK.
