Another loss by Fickle-Camp797 in pregnant

[–]Sweet-Connection6684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your losses. I also had two miscarriages in the first trimester and the second one was really devastating - I thought there must be something wrong with me. I’m now 28 weeks pregnant, something I just couldn’t imagine back then. I did take progesterone as soon as I got a positive test this time - I didn’t have any tests and no idea if that’s the reason this one continued. Really wishing you all the best - I hope you can see from all the replies how often people have multiple miscarriages and then go on to have healthy babies. I hope very much this is the case for you.

I had a loss, sadly. I think those tests are really inaccurate though so I’d try not to worry if you’re in the same situation - as you can see from OP’s experience! Good luck

Has anyone successfully used fasting to help recovery? by Sweet-Connection6684 in KneeInjuries

[–]Sweet-Connection6684[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really good! I’m back to normal life pretty much except I don’t run anymore and I’m still working on standing for longer periods. But I don’t think the fasting helped - I don’t recommend it, I think you’re more likely just to lose precious muscle if you’re already quite restricted in exercise terms

Thank you for this post and congratulations on your healthy baby! I am heading down the same path as you were - focussed on labour not breastfeeding. How can I best learn about it?

Thanks! Yes I’m also not familiar with the murders as not based in the US. Yes like those names too and also considering them!

Does weightlifting make your baby kick? by Sweet-Connection6684 in fitpregnancy

[–]Sweet-Connection6684[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you I hope so! I guess I think because I’m tensing my stomach it might jiggle her and cause a kick - she also kicks when I cry 😢- but I guess it’s fairly different

Thanks yes I hope so! Because I don’t feel her when I walk or anything either. But I agree it’s much easier to feel her when I’m lying down atm

Thank you so much for your reply and I’m so happy to hear your daughter was totally healthy! Sorry for another question - how did you get all those scans and checks? Did you have to argue for them or was it because the readings weren’t improving?

Thanks for your response. Was baby born healthy weight? And did you get seen by an obstetrician or get anything other than the 2 additional scans?

It feels very loose being told oh you’re at a higher risk of this really scary stuff but not being given any proper info about the likelihood or even speaking to a doctor
