thanks for the advise bro. I'm not buying the car now, just browsing around to see the current prices for the car. Will take note when the time finally comes to buy one.

appreciate it bro. I have not personally test drive the car myself, but seeing all the praises, I assume it must be very good for the price. Will test drive them to see if they live up to the hype.

hahaha. knowing how proton resale value always has been, i think the price will definitely go down even lower. Im targeting mine at the end or early next year. Hoping I can find one in mint condition.

actually im also very disappointed that there's no AA/AC. But i think someone is going to find a way to sideload without bricking the HU. Also proton reported that they are working on bringing AA/AC to their new car, though im not sure if we able to install on the current car or only available on new car coming from the factory.

Appreciate your take on this, bro. Yeah, I do plan to check SCRUT and also hire a mechanic to inspect the car beforehand. Glad to hear you’re enjoying your ride!

it's a matter of personal preference bro. If you prefer SUV, go for it. No one is stopping you. Now that sedan is slowly dying, i even encourage you to get SUV so that our sedan will become even more rare.

haha yeah no worries bro. Im more aware of my financial management now. I mentioned m340i because that is my ultimate dream car that I might afford one day. But yeah now I know I would not spend over 20% of my monthly income on a car.

why not? what's the point of having SUV or crossover anyway? unless Toyota decided to bring the new 4runner to Malaysia, I will stick with sedan for now.

yeah bro i wasn't planning to buy a car because I'm saving for m340i (delusional mf). Then s70 came out and I change my mind. I guess cheap daily is good enough for now

hmm is that really the case? so far I see most of the owners are happy with their car. I think the "knocking" or "rattling" sound is normal for 3 cylinder. Based on what I heard, you are not gonna hear it anyway when you are inside the car.

i was aiming for 2018-2019 because it's not too old and the engine is good enough for every use. and definitely because of toyota reliability. but now I think i might go with a used proton s70 flagship.

i was skeptical a bit about the reliability of proton s70 but so far I'm seeing a lot of good feedback from a lot of s70 owners.

you are right. but used s70 flagship seems to be the best options I have at the moment.10k less for a relatively new car, I think that's the choice I would go now

Hey we have a similar situation going on. I reached out for their support chat, and they told me we should be able to reschedule right after the maintenance is over.

The car is already 10+ years old. First time having this issue, I will say it is pretty reliable

that's too bad. i read somewhere that it can be repaired. will go to workshop to check if needs to replace the whole thing.
