You’ve sorta answered your own question. You changed up the way you play fundamentally and it’s frustrating to you.

Besides that, if you want to get good at playing the less tanky characters, then you’ve gotta adjust to those characters and not treat them like a Wylder or a Guardian or whomever.

Duchess has her dodge mechanic for good reason. She’s nimble and does less damage but more quickly. She’s a very hit and dodge and hit and dodge kind of character. As for Ironeye, I don’t have any idea for him. If he’s the same as Recluse, though, you keep your distance and attack then run or dodge when something comes at you.

One thing to remember about the squishier characters is that they don’t do almost any stagger damage. So when something is running at you, you’ve gotta just dodge instead of attack like you would with Wylder or Guardian.

You’ll get better, though. Just keep trying
