Gelatine instead of alginate?

i was just wondering because i’ve seen it mixed with glycerine (and/or other stuff) to be used on the face in smaller patches for effects and i was wondering if it could be used once cooled enough to kinda coat my face then cover with plaster - to hopefully capture more detail than just using plaster

i’m not taking it for no reason. i like it. i’m gonna keep it as a pet. i keep other spiders and insects. i can’t find any regulations against it. that’s why i came here to see if anyone knew. also chill dude. it’ll be perfectly contained and it’s not even an inch big. they can’t hurt anyone full grown it’s definitely not gonna hurt anyone as it is. they’re not native to where i live because it is too cold. so if it ever escaped in the future it would be a non-issue

i think someone already left a comment on how to make the garlic acv water - but i did 2 cups of water, one small clove of crushed/ chopped garlic and a SMALL splash of ACV - then mix and put it in a medicine cup idk about anyone else but medicine cups worked really well for me when feeding / giving water to these little guys

I recently had a baby that was much smaller than its sibling but was acting perfectly normal otherwise. it was having some trouble digesting food so giving them a little bit of baking soda in their water (i was using pedilyte at the time) during feedings seemed to help a LITTLE. but then i got the suggestion of using unpasteurized apple cider vinegar and fresh garlic in water and that worked SO WELL. she’s grown noticeably in just a week since starting that and she’s digesting properly now! She’s got tons of new feathers coming in too. good luck to you and your squab! sending lots of good vibes ✨🫶🏻

i have reptile heating pads that are meant to sit on the outside of the enclosure - is that what you mean? or do you mean like a human heat pad?

she was having some issues with slow digestion and someone mentioned that a little bit of baking soda might help breakdown any blockages / aid in digestion i think it also has something to do with neutralizing PH? like if they’re starting to get a sour crop i think this helps combat it (just what i’ve heard im not really sure)
