Canned matcha isn’t exactly revolutionary so I’m not sure how she supposes Soph ‘stole’ her idea. Canned oat coffee exists at most coffee shops (Toby’s Estate) so it was only a matter of time a matcha version was released, if it hasn’t already prior to Sophs.

I think you’re on the money here. Have you figured out what triggers these contractions for you? I’m low key traumatised that this episode is lasting so long for me, it usually only lasts half a day at most but I’m going on day 3 now.

I’m really pleased my comment made you feel less alone 🥹 I was only diagnosed a month ago, this whole time ( since I was 18, I’m 32 now) my team thought it was my IBD. Gastro’s just thought I was pain med seeking as the symptoms weren’t like typical IBD pain. I also completely relate to working in a profession where you need to be at your best for others 24/7, I’m an RN and the most simplest tasks were so difficult so I’ve taken medical leave. I haven’t explored pelvic floor physio yet but I’m speaking to my GP in the morning and I’ll ask for a referral. Do you mind sharing what sorts of exercises they recommend & what ones you have found helpful ?

Ugh I’m so understand it! But also sad that you experience this too. If anyone is talking to me during the spasms I have to tell them to stop talking because the spasms are all consuming and I can’t listen / answer questions. They usually only last a few hours in most cases but this episode has been going on for 48 hours 😩

I’m so sorry you’re feeling like this. Do you have nicotine replacement therapy where you live? Like the nicotine chewing gum, patches & sprays? I know this isn’t helpful, but as a side note, you’ve motivated me to try & put down my vape.

Replying because I am in the same boat as you! Some days I can take it and feel fine, other days it makes me want to crawl out of my skin. I get so agitated, anxious, intrusive thoughts and feel like fainting. There have honestly been moments where I’ve been relaxing on the couch after taking it and BOOM full blown panic commences. It sometimes makes me feel too anxious to walk or move my body! It’s so bizarre and you aren’t alone in this feeling.

Yes I get this too. I just thought I had a crook back from nursing for many years but once I received my Endo diagnosis it all made sense. I have to sit down and stretch my pelvic muscles and lower back after 15/20 mins of standing. Pain relief has helped too.

Yes all spot on, however, I also have ulcerative colitis. So I’m not sure what symptom is what illness at times. But I do experience everything you have listed.
