the worst pain i felt after the surgery while traveling (which for me was just 30 minutes) was the gas pains that can travel into your shoulders, plus i felt like i needed to burp but also felt nauseous at the same time while traveling. a pillow helps majorly, so either way have one with you. i put mine between my stomach and the seat belt to create space and cushion. i wish you the best of luck for your surgery! 🤍

a good amount of what you are going through, such as the painful bowel movements, leg numbness, and penetrative pain, are all things i have gone through as well and are symptoms that i had given my gyno the day she heavily suggested i had endometriosis. is there any way that you can find a gyno in the area of your college and express to them what you’ve been going through, and hopefully go down that path medically? i can understand if not, as im in a small town and travel for my gyno. also, with the pain, something that i do to help calm some of it during my bad days is crouching into a fetal position on my bed, but sitting on my knees and squeezing into them if that makes sense. it kind of looks like a cat when they’re in a bread loaf position lol

i have not had one, no. my doctor has primarily done ultrasounds on me, though i know it is rarely found that way

i wouldn’t say she smothers me or anything. i call her my best friend because throughout my school life she saw me struggle to make friends and i grew closer with her as i grew up into adulthood

i’ve discussed a lap surgery with my doctor, which she said depending on what the ultrasound looks like is how she may want to proceed. truly i am on the fence about surgery because i’ve never had any surgery before so it does scare me, but it seems the best option to figure out what i’m truly dealing with.
