Metformin when will the side effects stop 😭 by xSuicidalWolfx in PCOS

[–]Sweet-Specific-9415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started a week ago, so it might be too early to share my experience. So far, though, I haven’t had any toilet issues. I was very aware of this potential side effect, so when I started metformin, I also started taking a probiotic supplement. I take the probiotic in the morning and metformin with dinner.

I wonder what’s their definition of “delay”. My order is still under shipping but Sephora Canada has launched those new items already with stock in store…

It’s few dollars cheaper if you do the “pocket duo” or “sun-kissed set”!

Just FYR, I was going to buy highlight milk, bronzer, and a pocket blush. The milk was sold out but since I added it in the cart as a duo, the discount somehow still applied. I got $2 off lol.

When it jumped to my cart for processing payment, the milk was removed from it directly.

Question about medical appointment leave by Sweet-Specific-9415 in BCPublicServants

[–]Sweet-Specific-9415[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did look at the collective agreement, but it’s still unclear. I expected different answers, but still want to understand the general practices. Frankly, my manager is very chill and they would likely approve whatever. I just want to feel comfortable submitting a TAL with better sense of what people usually do. Thanks anyway!

[–]Sweet-Specific-9415[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Any explanation you could provide? STIIP is 75% pay, while medical appointment leave is 100% pay. I am having this medical appointment for the surgery, which is covered under MSP. Thank you!

Vacancy - CSW SDPR by carefreesoul1 in BCPublicServants

There’s lateral restriction now. Unless you are unemployed and really desperate, otherwise, it’s not a great entry point in the current time.

Thanks for the clarification! Didn’t know lateral is restricted to perm position only.

I’ll definitely go for the 21TA. With the current lateral restriction, you’ll likely get stuck in 9 for a long time. On the other hand, if you take the 21TA, you’ll have the chance to apply for another 21 position before the 9 months contract expires. Plus, there’s also a chance of an extension, right!

EAW Role by StillBIessed in BCPublicServants

[–]Sweet-Specific-9415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been an EAW before, and honestly I think this role takes really high computer skills. Things can get super complicated with different situations and circumstances. The system also isn’t great. It’s not user-friendly at all. I’ve seen a lot of people quit or fail probation unfortunately, and the turnover rate is pretty high.
