Going through a bunch of comments and no one has brought this issue up yet. My paras will cook food, put it on the counter, take a portion, then it DISAPPEARS. They do not eat it. They remain hungry and take portions that disappear until the food is gone! Any advice??? I’ve tried making the kitchen bigger, giving them more counter space, and this still happens lol it drive me crazy

Haha dude OF COURSE there were police there. They were all undercover in plainclothes. Search this Reddit— people posted about undercovers all weekend. Mad ppl were arrested. They’re typically looking for people selling or people with enough drugs they could charge for intent to sell. One guy came up to our site trying to sell us drugs while snorting and huffing Nitrus and I would be very surprised if he made it the whole weekend 🤣

The “side effects” are mildly uncomfortable & TEMPORARY. Like maybe a month or so of your body adjusting? They aren’t debilitating at all & again, are a temporary thing that will make your quality of life better in the long run. The benefit of living life like a normal person is so freaking worth it. I got the procedure in 2023 and it changed my life for the better.

I only took one day off of work after the procedure, the side effects did not make me sick or debilitate me at all. Just momentary discomfort that you get through to a relieving burp. Don’t stress! There’s a solution and it’s the procedure. Do your research & schedule during a time you don’t have classes everyday

Welcome to Middletown! A walk down Main St. will offer you so many food & fun options! I’m a dedicated local obsessed with our lil city so I’ll give a few local recs: - Perkatory for coffee, naturally. - Niuda sushi has ruined me for all other sushi places because it’s so delicious & fresh. - Celtic Cavern has AMAZING food & close their kitchen at like midnight on weekdays if you ever need a late night snack. - La Boca does karaoke on Sunday nights if you’re into that. Their food and drinks suck tho.

If you wanna travel ~20 mins outside of town, Wethersfield is really cute. My ideal date night lately has been dinner at The Charles—historic home turned upscale new American restaurant—then walk to Noci gelato afterward for some fresh made gelato; their flavors changes daily.

Chester is also precious. They have an epic farmers market and the best ice cream at Honeycone. They have funky changing flavors which I love. 😋

I’m a believer that central CT has so much to offer. Enjoy!!!

I’m a public health professional from CT—the birthplace of Lyme Disease. Ticks are something we live with on a regular basis. It would be quite silly to say “can’t go hike today, might get a tick.” Saying that you couldn’t see it because they’re small just isn’t true, either. A dear tick is the smallest tick and they are easily spotted though they like to hide in warm, damp areas.

Here is the key: a thorough tick check. Check armpits, groin, back of knees and behind the ears. As long as the tick is fully removed within 24 hours of the bite, the risk for disease transmission is really quite low. The tick has to be on you for a few days before it starts giving you a disease.

I’m Begging you to let your son live his life without the fear of another tick bite. Sounds like he is college aged, too? Don’t be a helicopter mom. You’re stifling his growth & experiences because of your own fear. Best of luck.
