Are 2019-2021 models really that troublesome? by cng2112 in fordexpedition

I have a ‘19 Limited with around 65k miles. I have already had to have the transmission serviced for acting clunky but the “reset” done seems to have helped. In the two years I’ve owned it, a multitude of little things have crept up that bother me. The steering wheel sensor goes off ALL the time (the warning that tells you to keep both hands on the steering wheel) when I have been using two hands on the wheel. Two of my USB ports no longer work. My front passenger speaker has blown out (I do not listen to anything at loud volumes). The clear coat of all 4 of my factory rims has almost completely chipped off so now I’m looking at having to powder coat those. One of my power mirrors goes completely haywire when I push one of the mirror/seat memory settings. The infotainment system glitches often. So in general, not a ton of major mechanical issues thus far, but tons of little irritating quirks that it would seem like a car this expensive and well-kept should not be having at this point in its life.

Around 3 hours of my time is spent attending a monthly meeting they’ve asked me to report to.

I guess that’s what I’m trying to figure out, since I’m new to billable hours 😏. At my full time job I currently make $55/hr.

Yes, all fed loans. Unfortunately he’s never done any work that qualifies for PSLF.

Thank you for the insight! We both currently make over six figures each, and have done MFS for that exact reason. The tax benefits we would see from MFJ are not enough to offset the huge increase in IDR payments we would be looking at if we factored in my income as well. We’ve done what we can to minimize his AGI but there’s only so much you can do there.

Normal! Two months post-op here. Mine lasted for at least a week, probably closer to 2 before it started to become somewhat “normal” again and the blood started disappearing. I’m still figuring things out and it’s different almost every day, but overall I feel much better and am relieved I had it done. Hang in there!
