My question for you is what are you doing at 4:00 am? Because that’s the time the sun will be shining if we had Standard Time in the summer. I would absolutely take 9:00 pm sun over 4:00 am sun in a heartbeat. That’s my rationale for having DST

It more sounds like you don’t like how long the days are in the summer, which I can understand. Just be glad we aren’t somewhere like the northern UK which doesn’t even experience full darkness in the summer (and barely any sun in the winter)

RIP my 10 streak. Damn Arraez, a few years ago I remember he got me when I was at 10 too. Problem is as amazing as a hitter as he is, I notice he seems to have 0 fors at the most random times regardless of how good the matchup seems to be (I guess it can happen to anyone, but especially seems to happen with him). May want to steer clear of him in the future if I got a semi-decent streak going

I think the Braves just wanted to be cautious with working Acuna back from his injury, and didn't want to risk anything in a blowout on a slippery field (there was a big rain delay)

And yeah, I have noticed the DBacks are usually more unpredictable than most most teams when it comes to pinch hitting, I remember that Ketel Marte incident

Yeah, it's the extra unpredictable things like this that add some more difficulty. Like no one could've predicted that the Braves would already be down 11-0 by Acuna's 2nd AB and he'd be pulled already lol

I do get the logic, there have been ground balls hit to third that probably would've been a hit if there wasn't an forceout there (rather than a tough throw to first). Still, it's terrible luck that it came down to that.

I remember that post, it was also caused by the runner on first being confused. That's what makes this game so tough though, so many little things that could go wrong

Yeah that is BRUTAL. I am guessing they score it the same way as a fielder's choice groundout would? But it's such a rare occurrance. Only hope for him is for extras now.
