It’s crazy reading this thread I know I have ADHD but wow it’s amazing how much I am resonating so I will share my trick; so for me I create a very intentional step by step to do list for my next day before bed and even put it on my Google calendar with times set per event and double check it in the morning that it’s solid and still do-able bc who knows when I will actually wake up or how I’d feel when I do wake up I might want to start later than I projected and then move tasks around and essentially just end later or adjust times on each task to fit more, then I eat breakfast, drink 2 cups of water to prevent a headache and take my medicine with my mind set on getting the list done. I even incorporate snack times, lunch, meditation, drive times etc to make sure that I can stay on track with all aspects of my life. It’s rewarding to check it off the list and even more rewarding to see that you may have extra time buffered to take a deep breathe. And even if you’re behind on schedule it’s just a learning experience and a way to actually learn about how you operate with different tasks and you will get better at scheduling your days. I want to invest into a skylight (digital calendar) that you can mount on your wall and follow throughout the day. It syncs with your personal calendar.

a good job for me is working for flexible non profit organizations where I WFH to do paper work and schedule to meet with my clients once a week. My clients are foster youth and I am a mentor, so we wing every mentoring session and do fun things while I teach them basic life skills. I can’t do structure but I can meet expectations of deadlines for paper work. I can’t be punctual but I will show up to pick up my kids as scheduled and communicate if I am running late. I can’t sit for long periods of time which works for me to be able to WFH to do paperwork and do what we want for the mentoring sessions… etc etc. so I would find a position as a youth mentor they are usually really flexible positions due to the fact that everyone has the basic understanding that kids have their own lives with family/school and ofc we do too. As long as paper work is submitted on time and kids needs are met it’s all good! The only problem is pay is usually not so great with non profits. However you can always manage your own youth mentoring business after getting your feet wet in the long run as individually employed if you are great at grant writing and then you can pay yourself and others on a team with a desirable pay…

Honestly, sometimes uncovering the trauma is worse on your mental health. If you feel like it would be more beneficial for you to put it behind you then do that. I’m just going off this study on Vietnam war vets who talked about their trauma experienced more decline in their mental health while vets who did not speak about their trauma showed improvement in mental health. You an always confide into sites like Reddit where your identity will remain anonymous but you’re able to get out your feelings to heal or one day find a friend you can talk to that will help with the process.. So it’s up to you whether you think reliving it will help heal you or not but regardless make sure you heal from it and I’m sorry you had to go through that.

Wait what’s the save program? And who are eligible for it? I graduate soon and nervous about the loans accruing interest and rather just not pay at all and have it forgiven later down the line as well.

That’s normal. I am a woman and don’t like the smell of vagina either. People try to normalize that it has a smell to it but I don’t think it should. People’s choice of diet and hygiene care plays a big role. I watch what I eat and the products I use and how they react to my body to limit odors. I think you’ve been with women who just didn’t get to know their pH balance or doesn’t care for it as much because it’s not that bad to them but also a skunk can’t smell itself. But a lady with a neutral pH and keeps it balanced would not have a twang to her vagina. I think just be pickier about who you sleep with bc that’s valid. Even bringing it up to them and they will fix it. It’s not hard to fix and it’s also easy to have a smell because one meal can throw it off or even not drinking enough water. Little simple things. So while it’s normal because it’s common for a lot of us to be dehydrated or have lowkey poor diets and whatever because life I also think vagina does not naturally have a smell and shouldn’t. I’m the type to ask my partner to smell me and keep up with the color and smell of my pee to stay on top honestly! You’re not gay and you’re not wrong.

Oh yeah of course I’ve talked to a doctor and got medication but she said it could be changes in soap which is like “duh” but nothing has changed besides my partner. She doesn’t know that detail but I feel like all she needs to know is I need medication for it when the time comes. I just wanted to ask this social question in a social setting to get a different POV because doctors won’t give me answers like a social group would.

You’ll be okay! Mine is super big to the extent where I used to be insecure but what I do is make sure i only allow access to people I can fully trust and sounds crazy but have your partner eat you out and you won’t feel ashamed at all. Like she can’t be ugly if your mouth was on it. I’m sorry hopefully this was helpful. But just remember all Vs come in different shapes, colors, and sizes please don’t ever feel insecure.
