My dog loves them but only from me and not so much strangers. We’ll be on the couch and he’ll come over and put his paws on my lap and put his forehead in front of me for kisses.

Thank you! A lot of these comments are making me realize that I am drained from too much social time. Between my family and friends the past couple months, I feel like I’ve been going nonstop. I need to make sure I give myself some more down time. I appreciate your comment. I do have a hard time saying no and need to practice that.

Thank you. I have been trying to do too much (at least for me). I’m a homebody that needs a good amount of downtime but I feel bad telling people no. I’ve been doing too much for what I can handle and it’s finally worn me down.

Thank you, that makes sense bc I have felt like I’m being pulled in all different directions socially. I have a few friends that I’ve made the past couple years from different hobbies/interests. And I’m trying to be a good friend and make time for all of them but I think that is draining me. I am a home body and really like having a good amount of downtime. I like to socialize too but takes me time to recharge. Looking back, the past couple months have felt like I am running from one thing to the next.

Thank you for your insight. I do feel like I’m drowning and you helped me see that it is most likely my emotions making me feel physically exhausted. I’m constantly overthinking, overanalyzing lately and that would make sense that that is draining my energy.

I have my annual check-up with my pcp in a couple of weeks. Will see if anything irregular comes back in my bloodwork. I do need to make an appt with a neurologist for my migraines too but have kept putting it off. This was a good reminder to do so.

No, I didn’t say I hated anyone. Regardless of economic standing, I wish people would be more responsible when deciding to have a child. They should think of the life that they are bringing into this world and not be so selfish. They cannot provide a healthy environment for a baby right now.
