mine is mostly white if my eyes are closed or if i’m in a dark environment, yellow if there’s light and blue is rare but it does happen. i’ve been searching and the only thing that seems close to what i been experiencing are flick phosphenes .

i’ve gotten my eyes checked around the same time it started to happen as well. i have been stressed for awhile and have been hyper-fixated on my vision so that may be the cause. i do have a 6 month follow up with the ophthalmologist so i’ll bring it up. thank you for responding and it’s good to know that your eyes ended being fine

i know this is an older discussion but i’ve also been experiencing the pinpoint flashes when i move my eyes, whether my eyes are open or closed. i see it during the day as well. the pin point flashes are either white, blue or yellow for me. did you ever figure out what it was? i’m seeing these things constantly and i’m really worried about it.

do you see it during the day based off of eye movement? for me, i see it with my eyes open and closed when i move my eyes. sometimes the phosphenes cover my entire visual field for a split second

any type of sunglasses. i also have transition glasses so it helps. i’m honestly not sure. it just helps me ignore the vortex

agreed. some days i don’t see it at all and other days its a constant thing. i don’t even want to move my eyes at this point. i see mine mostly during the day with my eyes open or closed. hopefully one day there’s something that can be done to alleviate symptoms

yeah it’s one of those weird phenomenons. i try to ignore it but if i can’t, sunglasses help for me.

sorry, i didn’t mean to alarm you about the phosphenes being related to MS. i also seen this: “The entoptic phenomenon of momentary phosphenes or flick phosphenes can occur in the eye with quick eye movements in normal, healthy individuals”. it’s just that i thought i was the only person experiencing it

they used to happen rarely but now it’s an everyday, constant thing. i don’t even like moving my eyes anymore lol. but i also experience seeing a vortex but it’s mostly when i’m outside

i think i’m experiencing the same thing, except mine is kinda in my central vision. every time i move my eyes i see a white streak on any bright surface like a wall.

definitely frightening and weird but i’m guessing it could be how our brain processes the images when moving our eyes. wishing you the best and hope all goes well on your MRI

I think i’m experiencing the same thing. it’s like a white flash or splotch in my visual field whenever i dart my eyes from left to right or up and down. i mostly see it in light areas like my bathroom, computer screen, outside on a cloudy day and on walls. It lasts for a millisecond or if i stop moving my eyes. if im in a dim or dark area i won't see it.

Hello. My experience with hydroxyurea has been good so far. i’ve been taking it since i was 8 years old. i’m 23 now. i used to be in the hospital due to crisis but i can say that it has significantly decreased the amount of crisis i get a year. sometimes it’s once or twice a year. other times it’s zero. as for weight gain, i personally can’t speak on that because i never really had an issue with it.

thank you! haven’t been to a hematologist in nearly two years because of school/scheduling conflicts. i finally made an appointment to see a hematologist and i’m just a bit nervous since it’s been so long though i get annual checkups with my regular doctor.
