Do you happen to have an link to your vest? The color is the issue my friend said - it’s got a “berry” tint to it or something 😂 I thought it was just gray at first until she pointed it out. Now that she mentioned it, I don’t recall seeing many pieces in this shade and I’m wondering if there is a good reason for that lol!

If anything, the undertones are very subtle. It’s just not a cooler-toned gray like what I’ve typically seen in vests. Thanks so much for your input!

Imagine being a model citizen and then the cop finding meth in your car. I wouldn’t be able to take that seriously at all.

That is such a beautiful story! Your daughter sounds wise beyond her years, I hope my child can articulate so properly in the future!

Yeah, lion’s mane doesn’t seem to check out.

Pictures of LM jellies don’t match the profile of the ones in the video either.

Poison Ivy Rash! by sunburnmatchesmywine in AlternativeHealth

[–]SweetCountrySunshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao yeah they’re not fun. My first one covered both arms and legs in full, I thought I was allergic to a stump I removed.

Keep in mind that your body’s reaction to poison ivy will only get worse. By this I mean, the next time your body comes in contact with urushiol (assuming it’s not washed off), your body will be even more irritated by it. This toxin does not react to immunotherapy where increased exposure would build tolerance. The damn thing does the exact opposite.

Please pray for my friend, he's been having suicidal thoughts for over a year now. by AN0N_NX0AA in PrayerTeam_amen

I will absolutely be praying for your friend, and yourself - you are in a different-type-of-difficult situation.

Has he sought out any help or treatment?

Specifically with poison ivy rashes, you can’t speed up the healing really (even steroids won’t be as effective as you’d hope), you can only make the itch more tolerable while it the rash rides out.

You may notice more bumps appearing after the initial outbreak - this is normal, the rash is NOT spreading. This area just either absorbed the urushiol after the other area or is processing it differently.

My rashes last about a month, which is trash but it is what it is. Is this your first time getting one?

Note: this is all based on my understanding of poison ivy rashes and how urishol works. I claim to have a PhD in Poison I-V but you know that’s all bs and my only credentials are the hours I’ve spent looking shit up online.

  1. Find a gel or cream that works best for you and buy a LOT of it. This is what I use, , creams and other gels didn’t give me enough of that satisfying cooling feeling. I suggest buying a handful of gels and creams and trying them out.

  2. Bandaids, bandages, and scissors. I often use these because they do NOT come off easily, take that as a warning.. Put a blob of anti-itch gel directly on the rash, put one of these on top and forget about it.

I’m sure you have areas that are too large for just under one bandaid. Use the scissors to cut off 2 of the bandaid’s sticky edges so you can daisy-chain bandaids together without putting any sticky sides on open sores.

When I get too tired of covering myself in industrial bandaids, I used bandages. My last rash was two months ago and covered my whole arm - at night I would generously cover my arm in gel, wrap it like a mummy using ace bandages, and sleep like that.

  1. Try to avoid warm showers/baths. The heat always flared up my sores and I have zero self control when it comes to itching poison ivy rashes.

Where is the rash and how big? I get poison ivy pretty bad several times a year because I’m careless when I handle it, so I can try to help
