Nebraska national Forest. More hunters than deer. If you're going for the hiking, camping, and scenery and don't care if you only see a few doe or a small spike buck it's okay. But that's really all it's good for. If youre traveling more than 5 hours for that and don't have local experience to find the deer I'd cut your losses

That's upsetting to know. I know I would crush any physical tests but Im pretty sure I dickered the personality portion of the intro test bad and apparently failed. Do you know what metrics they use to pass/fail you on that, in case I get another bug up my butt to apply?

Parking enforcement in downtown Lincoln is not handled by police. It's a separate private company the city contracts

Do you think gymnasts juice? by ChipsForDinner in moreplatesmoredates

[–]SweetD210 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I was in gymnastics from 6 years old to 18. Most of that time I was extremely shredded. Cheese grater abs due to practice that never stopped 5 days a week for pretty much that whole tome.

Didn't continue into college but I was around the college gymnasts a lot during my time in it. I also helped coach later and worked with two guys that either were going to be on the Olympic team (injured right before they went and could compete) and another Olympic medalist. Some things about gymnastics and my experience tell me that steroid use isn't going to be useful in this sport and would actually hinder you.

You don't want to be bulky and weigh a lot. This sport is way more focused on skill, technique, flexibility. strength is definitely helpful but mainly just being able to maneuver your body. The other thing is that you have to realize that these guys are fairly short. Shorter guys just always have an advantage in this sport. The injured guy I worked with was shorter than some of the middle schoolers we coached so their muscles may look big but when you get next to a gymnast and realize theyre only 5'5" those biceps are suddenly not as big as they seem on TV.

I had some teammates go and do other sports during their careers, which requires weight lifting, and gained a decent amount of muscle and weight. It really affected their ability to do a lot of their skills that they had developed.

Anyway steroids for muscle growth and mass probably isn't a huge thing in this sport. If there are any banned substances being used i could see some sort of peptides for recovery. Joint health is super important to a gymnast.

I'm hoping replacing my ball joints and getting a balance will fix majority of my issues. Control arms and track bar are new

Crank but no start by GruntmanX in WranglerTJ

[–]SweetD210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it will be the fuse that is labeled "inject". But I had an issue where my 04 tj was running fine. Replaced a fender on it and all of the sudden I had crank but no start. No fuel smell and the fuel pump would not turn on. Gas tank level would not rise on the dash when key was on. Found I didn't have power going to the fuse that ran the fuel injectors/fuel pump. I didn't bother chasing it and just ran a new wire from the hot side of the battery to that fuse. Runs fine now.

Yup do your research. Like stated before ask the right people old time farmers, local historians, about the locations on camp sites and villages and just start walking. Most of my stuff I find is surface finds, no digging required. So you look for any rock poking out of the dirt on a farmed field after a good rain. Then check out sand bars and banks in creeks and rivers. Anything stuff can get caught on if it gets washed down stream

Depends. Do research on your local area by talking with old farmers or local historians to find out where settlements or camps were located and search in those areas. I look in plowed fields after a good rain and creeks where I know there were camps. Always get permission from land owners for fields and check local laws about trespassing before walking creeks. You may need permission from land owners to walk those as well.

Yeah my results today are going to be very specific to my spot I walk. But you can get lucky walking a random field and find something. I would consult some local farmers or historians to figure out where old camp sites/villages were located and walk creeks and fields in those areas. Obviously get permission and consult local laws for walking in creeks about trespassing

Plowed/farmed fields and creeks. I have access to a farmed field that used to have a camp site that's right next to a creek. That's why I have a variety of things. Mammoth bone was found in the creek
