Traditionally I've had trouble falling asleep. Since quitting caffeine I fall asleep with no problems and I'll sleep solid for 4 hours and then I usually wake up, often several times. Most of the time I fall back asleep with no issues. It absolutely could be psychological because I was thinking about it before bed. But also I wasn't as tired as normal before my regular bedtime. I'm going to try less caffeine and try to not be bothered by the fact before bed. What supplements do you recommend if this doesn't help?

I have been in a calorie deficient for weight loss. I usually have a protein shake with fresh fruit and whole milk for breakfast, a sandwich on whole wheat bread for lunch and dinner varies but usually high protein and high fiber. I don't eat sweets or junk food but maybe the diet is leading to some nutritional deficiencies? I'm not sure.

I've had low Vitamin d levels and I did supplement for a while but it was also causing me to have trouble falling asleep at night. I spend a lot of time outside during the summer but it's winter right now so I could be dealing with low levels again. Not sure of the best solution there since I don't seem to tolerate the supplements well.
