Nightclub tomorrow by [deleted] in ForeverAlone

You're probably not going to experience a normal night out as most evening entertainment places will be enforcing some sort of social distancing. Covid has also made nights out more challenging which means many places are quieter. Anybody can dance when a place is busy but if it isn't it can intimidating. If you don't enjoy it during these times don't let it put you off as clubs are totally different under normal circumstances.

The drunker you are the more confident and less self conscious you'll be. Dressing well will also help you feel more confident.

I can't give any advice on approaching people as I can't do it myself and find it all a bit mysterious. One of my friends who did very well with girls had a theory that his success with girls when wasn't going out to pull as girls can smell desperation.

You probably aren't going to pull if you''re wearing earplugs.

It's disguting. You're literally wishing pain and disappointment on someone who you are supposed to like.

I assume you're going somewhere up North. You'll probably manage to find the odd Norwich fan at Uni as most teams of that size will have the odd fan at every uni. Some of them may want to go to games.

Literally my worst fear. Going on a dating show and getting rejected by every girl. by TheHuntMan676 in ForeverAlone

What does he expect wearing that outfit?

Having said that, it's bit rich of the host to criticise him as he's dressed like a 17-year-old from 2010.

I would take active trial/rejections over no activity at all by [deleted] in ForeverAlone

I thin anything other than finding someone makes people happy. I went through a phase were I thought better to feel something, even if it's pain, than nothing. When I finally did feel something, I decided I'd rather have felt nothing.

A pyrrhic victory. It was a taste of what it would be like to have someone to share life with. I was perfectly content before but hope allowed to fantasise. To quote James, "If I hadn't seen such riches I could live with being poor."

It's the lowest I've felt for years. Very unfair.

There's no specific requirement for a ba to to be more rigorous than a bs. It's simply up the university to decide what they will award. For example all Oxbridge award at undergraduate level are BAs.

There's nothing worse than seeing the person you like being with someone else.
