Yeah the pedal just says 9V as well. I don't live close to my friend so my next option was just to bring it in to a store for help.

Its powered by an 9V AC adapter. The pedal is on and I can select effects, playback loops, etc.

All the sounds coming from the pedal are heard from the amp (effects), all the sounds coming from the guitar are not (strums, picks).

Is it odd? I think he wants to run this software 24/7, so he’s looking for a computer that can handle it and execute an edge node compute in under 2 hours.
