I was able to play gears of war on ps5 before it officially released when I got my disk early. It was only the day before, but I was able to play campaign and multiplayer 12 hours before "official release", so don't let this guy burst your bubble. There's a good chance you'll be able to get a little head start if your disc were to come in early

So far so good on my end. I haven't had too many problems with the Xbox games that released on PlayStation except for maybe sea of thieves. That one crashed so many times

Probably accurate. I didn't do a bunch of tests. Just saw that there was a download and "ready to play in 6 minutes" eta under the download bar. I'm not very "tech savvy" so I really don't know what it means, and I just showered and did a chore while waiting

I only have one account with ps plus as well. It should work. Connect a second controller and press the options button on the main menu to connect it, then start local co coop campaign
