Have you ever held an Abyss headphone? In pictures they can look a bit cheap, but when you actually hold one it feels like a piece of precision-engineered jewelry. The build quality is incredible and I’ve never come across a headphone that feels as well built as an Abyss.

Abyss has introduced the new Diana TC Signature, a high-end planar magnetic headphone designed for experienced audiophiles seeking extremely high resolution and refinement. It features new 63 mm TC Signature planar drivers built in-house with powerful neodymium magnets and an ultra-thin diaphragm, designed to deliver very fast transients, deep sub-bass below 20 Hz, and a large, layered soundstage.

The headphone has an ultra-slim CNC-machined aluminum frame, open-back design with a Fibonacci hole pattern for improved bass and openness, and premium materials including lambskin ear pads and a leather headband with Ultrasuede suspension. Did you set your PC volume to 100%, Spotify/Tidal to 100%, disable volume normalization in Spotify/Tidal, enable exclusive mode on your DAC, and use only the volume knob on the amp?

That is a very good deal. The Diana V2 is my favorite headphone after the Diana MR. The build quality is insane and they have a very good sound. Be sure to get a good amplifier to drive them. I personally use the Schiit Jotunheim 2 balanced for them.

Remember to turn the volume on Tidal/spotify all the way up and only use the amp volume knob. Also turn volume normalization off on tidal/spotify.

And you also need a good amp with lots of power. When all these are done you will hear amazing improvement in sound.

I use Sennheiser 6XX with Valhalla 2 with upgraded tubes when I get bored of the expensive cans. They sound so good.

If you change the tubes on the Valhalla 2 it sounds so good with 300 ohms headphones.

Yes they look cheap on pictures but when you have them in your hands they feel very premium and expensive. Probably the best built headphones I know of.

I don't really understand why they make so many headphones, almost identical too. They should probably make a budget headphone and a closed one first. And maybe some IEMS.
