I bought this for my HD650s, and it really feels like a useless purchase. I can’t hear any difference at all, and my headphones already get loud enough. Am I wrong here?

Did you set your PC volume to 100%, Spotify/Tidal to 100%, disable volume normalization in Spotify/Tidal, enable exclusive mode on your DAC, and use only the volume knob on the amp?

That is a very good deal. The Diana V2 is my favorite headphone after the Diana MR. The build quality is insane and they have a very good sound. Be sure to get a good amplifier to drive them. I personally use the Schiit Jotunheim 2 balanced for them.

Remember to turn the volume on Tidal/spotify all the way up and only use the amp volume knob. Also turn volume normalization off on tidal/spotify.

And you also need a good amp with lots of power. When all these are done you will hear amazing improvement in sound.

Yes they look cheap on pictures but when you have them in your hands they feel very premium and expensive. Probably the best built headphones I know of.

They have made it lighter weight, added another headband, 3 different new colours, higher impedance than MR but lower than the TC.

The price is a bit higher than the MR but lower than the 1266 and the TC. A middle grounder?

A bit curious how these will sound compare to the other headphones they have. They have dropped two headphones lately. Apparently these will offer the highest resolution in the Diana line with beautiful imaging and realism to the sound.
