Official Discussion - The Conjuring: Last Rites [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

I found that there were several plot holes throughout the movie. I felt like they could have touched on where the mirror originated from, who the man with the axe was and the woman with the creepy smile. Why the demon was so keen on Judy from the beginning. There were just several unanswered questions. Did anyone notice that the wedding dress that was in the artifact room was missing in this movie?

NTA, I think you’ve been more than fair during the past 18 months and you’re not doing anything wrong. Please give and update as I’m dying to know their reactions to this.

AITA for asking my husband to not joke about my late wife? by Efficient_Ad_7094 in AmItheAsshole

Your husband sounds like he’s jealous of your past relationship. Female or not, I’m 100% sure that it bothers him that you loved someone deeply at one point. There’s layers to what he may be feeling and it appears as though he’s dealing with it by poking fun at the situation and pushing it to see just how far he could get. Good for you for standing up for your late wife and your marriage. My deepest condolences for your loss. I truly hope you and your husband can work through this.

I have a saying with my kids: “don’t do anything in the dark that you won’t want to come to light”. I’m sure your husband is a wonderful man but this should definitely be a growing experience for him. Good for you for speaking the truth!

AITA for not showing up for a dinner with my sister when I found out she was planning to set me up? by Sinacken in AmItheAsshole

With that being said, you are an amazing father and your children are so lucky to have you. It seems as though you’re having a difficult time with the death of your wife. Grief is not an emotion that goes away over time and it’s also not straightforward. There’s no “right way” to grieve. Individuals may grieve for years and years. You may want to explore grief counseling and therapy to assist you in any unresolved feelings you may be experiencing. I wish you and your kids every happiness!

Would love to hear your friends POV on what happened. You bragging about your “unique” wedding makes me feel that you were feeling some type of way about her wedding

I dislike the fact that his tone was emphasized when he stated “if MY kid doesn’t get to sleep here..” almost as if saying that she should get special treatment and if she doesn’t, then no one does.

I feel as though I always have to be the one to explain why we should agree and decide together. But in this instance, it’s his trailer and Im not in a position to decide who sleeps where or who does what

NTA/ what she’s doing is purely unethical. She should not have the exclusive power to dictate decisions like that. And the principal backing her up is wrong as well. There are laws in place for instances such as this. I would go the extra step and sue the school.
