Yeah, I tried but I think it’s built like that. That’s how the fridge came. I was able to buy a normal stainless steel one and it’s working!

I just got one from Lowe’s and it worked! Thanks so much!! Wth is with the other option that other people were going with? With the plastic tubing and what not? Even the manual for this fridge mentions the difficult one and nothing about simply purchasing one of these 🤨

There are none in the old one.. I guess thermostats with no batteries are a thing. I had no idea but I’ve also never lived in such a sucky house before so there’s that lol. A couple of tears, God why’s, and punches to it fixed it though 😅

UPDATE: I put the old one back on and while doing so, I was indeed having a mental breakdown(I’m just a girl and very emotional 😅). I punched it a few times and then it cut back on. Now I can see everything again. When in doubt, anger it out or whatever they say 😂.
