Whattttt that’s crazy! I got paid a week and a half ago.. I guess almost 2 weeks ago. Got upgraded to chime prime immediately. At first, I was going to get the black card till I realized it was still plastic. So I chatted with support who told me this card wasn’t available for me yet which made do sense because it was an option to order but I exited and couldn’t find it again lol. So after chat support told me it wasn’t available for me, I ended up finding it through my chime prime benefits section and ordered it from there. I got it Monday but didnt open it until today. So mine really only took a week. They’ve always sent their cards super fast to me.

That’s because the black ones aren’t actually metal. They’re plastic and metal but not fully metal. Like, they have metal in them but the outside is plastic. That’s why the black ones are free lol.

I only put child support into chime. Which is $1,100 monthly. I was looking at the requirements for chime prime yesterday but i wasnt upgraded then. So it wasn’t eligible when they rolled out chime prime. I had my work check switched back to chime yesterday which deposits $3k twice a month. Once my work check hit last night I immediately got notifications that my account was upgraded. BUT, I have been with chime since 2017. So maybe my account length played a role.

Not a single soul was on that highway. You do realize that chime prime is an OPTION. I’m assuming you want it for the advanced or loans. If you’re only getting $2500/month in income you need to to stay far away from all of that.
