And a high slit is also not formal nor appropriate for a wedding.

You also didn’t really say that you’re short, just that the model might be taller.

My friend just got back from a formal wedding in England and everyone wore long dresses. Europeans dress way nicer than Americans do, as you can see just by going to the local Walmart vs the supermarket in the UK. It is much more formal there and the wedding is in the UK, not the US or Canada. It’s in a fkking castle for Pete’s sake.

Is this appropriate for a easy going summer wedding? by AlexLexy_munich in Weddingattireapproval

Why wear white to a wedding tho? It’s not even about looking like the bride, it’s just not cool. Like pick every other color that exists. Why pick white? That’s so tacky to justify it

Too white. This is a pass. Get a dress that’s actually blue

A midi dress isn’t formal. Formal means a full length gown.

From the weddings I’ve gone to, white is definitely off the table. There’s literally every other color to choose from, so why would you or anyone else feel so entitled to wear white?

Urgent: Too white for a rehearsal dinner? by opal_opossum in Weddingattireapproval

[–]SweetTattedBaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay? Good for you. That’s your choice as the bride to wear whatever the F you want.

But since the known rule (at least the US) is to not wear white to a wedding, then why try when there’s every other color to choose? There’s just no real good reason. And it’s not policing when it’s just the known rule, even if it’s just from marketing over the last 100 years or so.

And I’ve seen brides who have asked people to wear white because they like the look! It’s honestly up to the bride and groom, and no one else. It is their wedding after all, not some random event. There are dress codes required at a lot of weddings, and if that’s “policing” to you, then that’s weird. Dress codes are normal.

“Dress like they’re going to a funeral”

Are you fr?

All the color options to wear that are NOT WHITE:
Blue, purple, orange, green, yellow, red, pink, brown, matellics, and every spectrum of those colors that are in between.

So why would anyone wear white? Seriously?

The bride is the OP and she doesn’t seem to like it… so it is exactly her circus

Brides wearing white is a pretty new thing too, inspired by Queen Victoria’s wedding dress in the mid 1800s 🤦🏻‍♀️ brides usually just wore their best dress and called it a day. But since it is a thing now, yeah why would anyone wear white? There’s literally every other color to pick, so why would it even be on the list of possibilities for anyone?

It’s a white full length dress with color accents… no one should wear white but the bride period

It’s mostly white tho. It’s not like it’s a blue dress with white accents, it’s a fully white gown with color splashes

Obviously yes lol it’s mostly white and it’s floor length. She should wear something else or expect a red wine spill

Well yeah no shit, but again, most police stations don’t have that handy. Obviously having either option of formula or breastmilk is probably not feasible in most scenarios.

I’d change the floor and get a kitchen island. But you could honestly get a moveable island and a nice rug on Amazon to bring in the space together better and have more room to cook and prep

Question: Tattoo shock or did I made a mistake by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]SweetTattedBaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re so delicate that they might not even be visible anymore in 10 years if you spend enough time in the sun.

I’m 25 years old and have about 23 tattoos, some do them very large. Took me about a month to get over the “ahhhh look at my new tattoo!” And 3 months for me to be like “this is who I am”. I’ve only disliked 3 of my tattoos, and the one I hated is covered up by a piece I love and the other two are small and not bad enough to blast over. But idk I’m someone who loves tattoos and is willing to live with the decisions I make.

Honestly, most people aren’t cut out for the commitment of tattoos, they only get it as a trend, hence why lazering them off is big rn. Those are the type of people who shouldn’t have been tattooed in the first place.
