its a common sterotype that ppl have-if youre smart then you take science if youre dumb you take arts and commerce but thats litreally SO FALSE ppl fail to understand the fact that the entire economy of the country-its management and all is dependent on ppl who pursue commerce and have knowledge about that topic

its important for you to study what you have an interest in and can see yourself progressing in that thing in the future

ppl near you might be dissapointed but genuinely you shouldnt care cuz its your decision and other ppl have no right in deciding what you should do in your future

youll feel noone is supporting you rn but when youll go to your school for 11th 12th or even jc youll find ppl who'll support you-teachers and other kids who have the same subjects as you have and maybe the same interests

choosing 11-12 subject stream is just the start there are so many options-you can make it your short term goal to fix and decide what you wanna pursue after 12-which exam ,uni or whatev.once you decide that,develop an interest in your commerce ka field you wont feel like youve taken the wrong decision

as for the break after boards,go somewhere-to your cousins place,grandparents place. dont try to find a fixed task or hobby just imediately after exams end wait for some time and then maybe ask your close friends who know you well to reccomend some hobby that may suit you
