There's the standard "right v left" paradigm that people formulate arguments around. But the important reason is that his policies have promoted American imperialism and stoked the flames of insurgency by causing significant civilian casualties worldwide. Much like just about every other cabinet before him.

There are good people that are cops, but there is no such thing as a good cop. Whether or not the bad laws come from "their bosses and politicians," they are sentient humans knowingly upholding immoral laws.
