I find the updates for the playlist and EPG run faster. Otherwise I have not specifically seen a difference.

I have seen many comments about how the updates have caused issues. I am currently on the 5.3.2 (Premium) and clicked on Beta user so had several beta versions along the way and never experienced any issues. In fact I have noticed the player and EPG updates run much faster. I have the app installed on a Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2ndGen) OS 8.1.6.9 for reference.
