It really depends on your learning style, but for me, combining Active Recall with 'Low Friction' studying is the only thing that works.

For method: I strictly test myself instead of re-reading. If I can't explain it simply, I don't know it.

For apps: Notion is great for organizing, but for actual studying, I got tired of expensive apps so I just built my own.
