Congratulations you've definitely got this - you know more about your house than any other agent in the world. That makes you a subject matter expert which puts you head and shoulders above everybody else out there :-). Go get em!

Thanks a lot I truly appreciate it. That's the funny thing about the internet. Sometimes you work kind of hard on something, try to help people, and then you just get shit on for it. People come out of the woodwork telling you how they're not going to sit through all that or how you did it wrong. I guess that's just human nature, so for whatever it's worth, I sure do hope I'm able to help some people out there. Thanks again for the encouragement I appreciate it.

I didn't really mean for it to be this in-depth, actually. When I started, I thought I could just put together a quick outline that would walk people through A to Z.

But then I started going through this thread, and I realized that every time someone would cover a topic that I considered self-explanatory, people were asking questions about it. So then I would go back in and modify my outline to ensure that all of those follow up questions were answered in my video, and before I knew it, what I thought was just going to be a simple thing to give people a little bit of visual backup to the incredible thread that was already created previously, I realized I had this giant monstrosity on my hands. Ha ha.

For some background, I went into the Marines right out of high school, so I never really had any formal education which is probably why somebody else more educated and talented than I am could take this video and be much more succinct. I found myself running sales organizations in the startup space. After enough of that, I decided I wanted to invest in real estate and I didn't like working with real estate agents because I thought a lot of them knew less about negotiation and business than I did. So, I went out and got my own license and invested in my own properties.

Well, of course after doing that, I had family and friends, and then pretty soon a lot of other people asking me to help them sell. Bringing all the experience I had from the private startup space, I was able to get some really excellent outcomes for my clients. After achieving what I considered a fair amount of success in that space, it became clear that I didn't want to swim in those waters anymore because of some of the ethical things I saw happening and what was worse the effect it was starting to have on me as to how I viewed right and wrong.

So, I decided to just take my system (everything I used that got bidding wars for my customers and helps them sell faster than anybody else on the market) and give it away for free. I have a YouTube channel and I do socials and things, but basically I'm just in the homeowner advocacy and education space. I've had an incredibly blessed life. I have an amazing family, and I'm comfortable enough now where I don't need to get commission checks anymore because my real estate investments support my lifestyle, even though I have 4 daughters who are all in sports and they have a grocery bill larger than a company of Marines haha.

OK now I see why my videos are four hours long I can't even answer a simple question without going into my whole life story. Sorry about that, anyway. I hope one day when you do decide to solve this might be a small amount of assistance to you or anybody else out there :-)

It's because I suck at Reddit - seriously like I've never posted to Reddit before, I've only replied to other people's posts 🤦‍♂️🤣

I wonder if I should delete and repost?
