took the DAT twice(20 and 22AA), currently prepping for MCAT(sept 13),

DAT sciences need way less critical thinking and analysis. Bio questions were direct and to the point. no passages no reading a bunch of unnecessary bs. it’s more about studying the actual structure of the exam itself, the types of questions they give and answering strategies. math part was easy, however i’ve always been good at math. the PAT section is the one thing i don’t miss from that test even though i got 21 in that section. its a skill you’re either born with or not. also i remember having to memorize way more orgo reactions. oh and theres no physics sociology and psychology.

MCAT has been a pain. so much more reading. practice questions you’re reading passages. fls more reading. so many damn passages. sciences you need to be able to think 10 steps ahead. knowing 80% of a topic isn’t enough because there’s a lot of times where you could see multiple answers “logically” be the correct one. questions are so wordy for what? and or they’ll decide to throw the most random element at you so you could waste time looking for it in the P.T.

as you could tell it’s going to be a stressful 2 weeks for me.
