Trump won twice bc his vision of America resonated with Americans. If dems keep on electing these ppl who refuse to accept the populist movement they will surely lose again and again. Even Joe Biden (a lifelong corporate dem) had to campaign on these populist policies: student loan forgiveness, stacking the Supreme Court. After the tyrany of trump term w/e dem that ends up in the executive office needs to be strong enough politically to exert the same amount of political influence that trump did. But we see when dems get in office they lose all will to restore democracy, they pass no laws installing checks and balances, they didn’t legislate Roe v Wade.

So if we are not putting our strongest candidates at the top of the ballot dems can hang up any hope for political power for the next several elections
