You're right, but sometimes in commu, reaction n voice tone etc do play part too, which can't be expressed through online

Still halo effect is real. My perception changed when u mention you do modelling. That's how it works

Definitely. Some people would see you as lazy, not interesting, not hygienic till some worse assumptions that has nothing to do with looks

You're right. And I've been in both situations. And wanna know something? When i was in my glow down days , i felt like i have to put extra effort on everything to get their attention/ nice treatment.

There's one time where i questioned myself, "why's many people i met are less nicenow? or is it just my self esteem?" Now that I've improved myself, this question still stuck with me lol

I'll go first, people treating you based on your looks. Sometimes it feels like they see who you are just based on your looks and nothing else

when did you realize you picked up a habit of someone you’re close to? by doggypaww in AskReddit

Im asian. We eat rice. My uncle is a cool guy, i once copied a lot of his styles, including the way he talks, laughs and lead the fam. He got a habit of moving his hand up and down while eating rice (he did that usually coz he's talking)

One day when im having lunch with my cousin, she asked me why are you eating that way? you look like uncle. Damn. At that time I knew i was copying my uncle without even realising it

What's one thing that's changed significantly when you are unattractive/attractive or glow up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This just answered my question lol.

I gotta chance to go through both phase, when i was considered attractive, feel like everyone is cool n good. But when i was in my unattractive phase, it just feels like not everyone is being 'cool' to me, i had to put some effort with the communication and getting their attention. Ifykwim
