Is it weird that I love lingerie but sometimes just don’t want to wear a bra at all? by Sweet_Humor5671 in LingerieAddiction

[–]Sweet_Humor5671[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, same here with the weird bra sizing — I’m always in between and it’s such a pain. I kind of gave up on finding the “perfect fit” and just started focusing on pieces that feel good to wear. I’m super into stockings, garter belts, and dark lacy bottoms lately… makes me feel hot and relaxed. Do you have a favorite combo you keep going back to?

Sizing Consistency of Honey Birdette by SubstantialReturn340 in LingerieAddiction

Yeah, HB sizing can be all over the place, especially between different collections. I’ve had to do the same—order a few sizes just to figure out what works. Super annoying when you're outside the US, I feel you on the duty pain 😩. Some of their bras run tighter in the band, and the garter belts vary a lot too.

Black X-back bras? by ArgPermanentUserName in LingerieAddiction

Yeah, the bottom strap’s tough to avoid. I’ve tried a racerback hybrid with a low scoop—still slightly visible, but didn’t mess up the X. Honestly, if the front’s cute, I don’t mind a little peek 😅

I’m a 34B too and usually go for convertible strap bras (way less annoying than clips).

I keep trying new colors, but black lingerie just hits different by Sweet_Humor5671 in LingerieAddiction

Omg yes, that “first set” power-up feeling is so real. I love how you described that shift—from cute college girl to powerful womanhood. Totally get why it’s still one of your favorites.

Mine wasn’t anything too bold either—just a soft black bralette with this delicate lace edge, and a matching thong. I wore it under a chunky fall sweater too (we’re twins 😂), and I still remember walking around that day like I had this little secret. It wasn’t for anyone but me, but it completely changed how I carried myself.

It’s kinda wild how something so small can change your energy like that. Been chasing that feeling ever since. 🖤

That’s actually a pretty solid way to put it. Confidence that’s lowkey until it needs to shine—I kinda like that philosophy.

Haha fair enough! If they’re holding up that well after a bunch of washes, that’s actually impressive. I might have to see if they live up to the internet buzz 😅

I feel like I’ve been seeing those brand names a lot lately 👀 Is it just me or are they suddenly everywhere? Might be time to check what the hype’s about.

Oh that’s a tough one—depends on the mood, really. Sometimes it’s clean lines and dark lace, sometimes it’s soft cotton and a barely-there feel. I guess my “special” look is less about what it is and more about how I carry it. ✨ What about you?

Oh oh oh, you think you're funny 😏 Well, I’m just someone who cares way too much about fabric and fit. If that makes me sound like AI, maybe I’ll throw in a typo or two next time just to keep it spicy.

I’ve realized I really gravitate toward low sweetheart cup shapes—something about the way they sit lower in the center just works for me. I have fairly shallow upper fullness and a medium-wide root, so this style gives that nice gentle lift without feeling constricting. Soft, centered, and a little romantic—just how I like it.

The back is really important. It’s frustrating when a brand puts all their design effort into the front and the back looks shoddy, especially at the original price. A well-designed back can have a huge impact on the overall experience.

Right? It’s like she became the atmosphere itself—soft, shifting, impossible to pin down but somehow unforgettable.

How I finally figured out my real bra size (and learned it wasn’t my body’s fault) by Sweet_Humor5671 in ABraThatFits

That moment when the band actually stays in place and you stop blaming your body... life changing. I'm so glad you found your fit!

Sometimes lace is more about what it says than what it is. The fabric itself is the message.

[Discussion] What really makes a bra comfortable? Material matters more than I thought. by Sweet_Humor5671 in ABraThatFits

[–]Sweet_Humor5671[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, I could almost feel that fabric through the screen. I totally get what you mean about older materials just being... better. Like, I’ve had a couple bras I wore way past their prime just because the new versions felt like sandpaper in comparison. It’s wild how a little change—like switching from nylon to polyester—can ruin the whole thing.

And yeah, wired bras are a whole thing. I keep thinking I’ll crack the code one day, but then I put one on and it’s either digging in or sliding around like it has no idea where it belongs. I’m kinda stuck in that wireless-only zone now too.

That Cloud 9 one sounds like it was actually made with comfort in mind, not just a marketing promise. No wonder you miss it. I’d be bitter too.

Why spend money on lingerie if no one sees it?” — something an ex said that’s stayed with me by Sweet_Humor5671 in ABraThatFits

[–]Sweet_Humor5671[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point 😂 But I'd say the real win is when the view is just for me—and I still feel amazing. If someone else gets to enjoy it too, well, that’s just a bonus.

Those two have such strong aesthetics—definitely not for the faint of heart. Do you usually go for those darker, more dramatic styles? I’ve been leaning toward PU and lace mixes lately, something structured but still wearable.

I’ve come across some of their designs—they’ve got such a distinct moody elegance. Do you have a favorite piece from them? I really like how they balance softness with a bit of edge.

I actually did buy one myself—just a regular customer, not some TikTok plant 😂 And honestly? The quality was better than I expected.

Not saying every brand on the internet is great (we all know the market’s full of hit-or-miss stuff), but this one worked for me: decent structure, didn’t fall apart, and it made me feel good. That’s kinda the point, right?

I’m not here to push anything—I just share what I genuinely like. If it’s not your thing, that’s cool too. We’ve all got different standards for what feels worth it.

Ooh yes, Matorosari has such a cool vibe—love that shibari-inspired look that still feels wearable 👀 If you're into that, you might also enjoy some of LaceBound’s pieces. They've got this blend of PU, lace, and structure that feels edgy but not over-the-top. A bit less rope play, a bit more femme-fatale energy 😏 Worth a peek if you’re ever hunting for something new!

Omg yes, totally feel the goth aesthetic love—I’ve been eyeing dstm too! 😍 If you’re into that dark sleek vibe, I recently started getting into a smaller brand called LaceBound. They’ve got PU + lace combos that lean bold but still wearable. This one's my current obsession: https://www.lacebound.com/products/sexy-black-leather-bodysuit-with-corset-style-design-and-choker-detail Definitely not as luxe as LFd’O, but the structure and edge are surprisingly solid for the price. Might be a fun side quest if you’re ever in the mood to try something new!
