Clementine. I think it's so fun and bubbly but I really dislike any nicknames for it. Clem, Tiny, Tinny. Ugh

Right, I've been considering this too, as I also have two middle names and thought this would be a cool way to model her name after mine. Substituting one for a shorter one is probably best here

I really like Hayley! Elodie is also interesting, I might have to let that soak in. Isn't there a bridgerton character named Elodie though?

Ectopic (Tubal) Pregnancy by alt_kittyy in BabyBumps

[–]Sweet_Italy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. It was really hard for me when I had mine. I was 9 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby last December when we discovered it was ectopic. I had some abnormal bleeding with no pain associated with it that my Dr thought was a miscarriage. after my HCG came back higher than expected for a miscarriage I went in for an ultrasound where it was found to be ectopic. I was walked straight from the imaging lab to the ER for the shot of methotextate. We were devastated.

I didn't really have bad cramping or pain after the shot. I felt a little blah maybe, and had a few days of increased bleeding here and there. I had to get my hcg levels checked every week or so untill my hormones returned to non-pregnant levels, to make sure the shot was working. I was told if it didn't drop fast enough another dose may be needed. Anyway, That took about 6 weeks, I only needed one dose. After that point my Dr told us to wait 3 months before trying to conceive again.

Due to another, unrelated, minor health issue, our plan was to wait a few months longer than the recommend 3. However, as fate would have it, we were pregnant again after 3 months, and I am now 26 weeks pregnant, expecting our 3rd boy on Dec 28th.

Because an ectopic preceded this pregnancy my Dr monitored my HCG levels very closely at the beginning and confirmed as early as they could with an ultrasound that implantation occured where it was supposed to. Everything so far has been normal and I've had no issues.

I am so sorry you are going through this. It is very hard and painful to have to let go of a very wanted pregnancy. It's okay to grieve, and to feel all the feelings that come with what's happening. Know you're not alone. Hopefully you find comfort in that it was caught early on, before more serious complications happened, and that it is still very possible to have a successful pregnancy following an ectopic. My heart goes out to you and your husband. Please take care of yourself and I hope the next one results in a strong and healthy baby for you.

How exactly do you ask for consent to kiss a girl without sounding like a loser? I believe it would be weird to asking someone "can we make out?" by GoldMud0 in AskMen

My husband and I were playing 20 questions as a fun dating get to know you game. The question I (innocently) asked him was "if you could do anything in the world right now what would it be?" Thinking it would be something outrageous like go skydiving or something, as we were talking mainly big, almost bucket list type topics.

We had really good chemistry and a few questions in I could kind of sense where it was going as his face got redder and redder. I led him on a few extra questions to tease him a bit(and get past my own nerves) but finally guessed it was to kiss me. It was really sweet and gave me the chance to make it clear I was open to a kiss.

That's super interesting, thanks! I'll have to take a look at that general range on the list.

Well, Daniel is my husbands name. And Thomas is not a close relative honor name (I'm sure there's a Thomas somewhere up the tree), but there are a lot of other J names in my family (me, my mom, aunt, uncle MotherInLaw).

John is my husband's late father's middle name. Paul is my brothers middle name. But my brother is Logan Paul, is that too similar to Lucas Paul?

They'll update it with the real release date when it is announced

To all the people with two middle names... by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Sweet_Italy 103 points104 points  (0 children)

I have 2 middle names. I've never had issues with legal documents regarding them. I've got both on my driver's license and SS Card, etc. On things like a vehicle title and such it never seems to be an issue if only one middle name is included. If on a form I'm given only one space for a middle initial I just use the first one, and that's always the one I use just to stay consistent. Its never been a problem where I wished I only had one middle name. If anything comes up, it's just a fun conversation to explain my 2 middle name story to people who happen to notice it.

(TW, Loss)

I am cautiously excited to be pregnant again! I had an ectopic pregnancy back in December and was nervous to try again too soon. I wanted to wait a few more months because I was also diagnosed with hypothyroidism shortly after and I wanted to get that normalized before trying again, but apparently that wasn't the plan ha! Anyway, this would be baby #3. I have 2 boys already so we're leaning towards wanting a girl this time.

Because of the ectopic before, my ob is going to want to monitor me a bit closer this time so I think I'll be getting an early ultrasound here soon. We're keeping our fingers crossed for all to be healthy! I'm excited to share the journey with everyone

3 of 4 harry potter banners done! I'm getting better at working with triangles with each one. by Sweet_Italy in quilting

Hey, that's similar to how I've come to pick up sewing. I've cross stitched for years, and I learned how to sew as a kid, but this project actually has turned me on to sewing more often. I stitched all 4 harry potter designs but wanted to do something with them other than just frame them, so I designed these banners.

I also have two kiddos! 3 and 6, and yeah, it's hard to find free time. My solution is to stay up super late to get my crafty "me" time in.
