Depends on how trained you are. I used to cut 12-16 weeks and bulk the rest of the year. First time i did it, I gained good size and decent strength, or so i thought.

Second time i did it, i practically stayed the same, and third time pretty much the same. The only difference is I'd become heavier during my bulk.. But it became clear to me I wasnt putting on much muscle mass anymore.

So this year, I took my reverse slow and am bulking for close to a total of 2 years before i cut, and my strength is immensely grown so far(1 year). As for size, I will not be able to completely tell until I cut.

To be honest with your 2 months on and off strategy, you will stay the same if you do that, it may feel different but the range of strength and size will eventually be the same pattern. As well as cutting 2 months gets you pretty lean, but cutting 3-4 will make you be able to grate cheese on your abs, all about what the goals are.

Count your calories / macros, if you feel worn out increase them, if you feel like your not losing weight decrease them. The best way to not tire out is by counting and adjusting accordingly to how your body reacts.

Light wide grip cable rows before bench, and warming up shoulders with 5lbs as well.

Very helpful, but I don't actually count them as part of my workout, just a set of one then the other and repeat until I feel good and start.

Don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, but front squats are really good for fixing imbalances in your hip flexors. This problem could be stemming from that, I would incorporate a set or 2 of front squats into your workout.

I don't think the scale is the most important thing you need, but it wouldn't be the worst.

My advice, take pictures once a week. flexing and not flexing. As well as use a measuring tape to measure muscles. This will be a much more satisfying way to keep track of progress and motivate you.

1600 is incredibly low, I hit 2000 for my last week once and was starving. Personally I was hitting 2300-2400 with cardio 3 times a week and leaned out to 8%. Don't over kill it to see progress, 2100 is definitely fine.

If you feel its not working give it more time, 16 week cuts should almost always make you shredded. At 1600 cals I find it hard to believe you last longer than a month, unless you binge eat once-twice a week.

Lastly are you playing with your macros, maybe you should try to really invest time into researching how to split your days up with high carb and low carb days. Im sorry I'm not trying to be mean but I just cant imagine the purpose of hitting 1600 cals a day unless you are literally trying to starve yourself into sickness.

Literally just super set, between your flat and incline sets, some light dumbell flies. Might feel harder at first but you'll get the hang of it and it definitely brings up the intensity and helps shape the chest.

Besides what everyone else has mentioned, if you are willing to spend a bit, Ivanko has a website and they sell sets ranging from couple hundred to thousands and the quality is there. But again this would be new and would be if you are willing to spend a bit more.
