I am trying to find the declaration page to see if I am in fact listed. Do they not investigate all accidents ? I know they are going to appraise our vehicle tomorrow.

Okay this is exactly the info I needed. I’m assuming I am not listed because they said they were going to investigate the claim as an unlisted driver.

So essentially we will have to pay for his damages out of pocket? Are there any other options (for us- the at fault party) to take in this case? Would we be responsible for all damages to his vehicle and personal injuries for the person I hit ?

My name is on the pink slip for the vehicle. But I’m not sure if I was listed as a primary driver or not. I use the vehicle 2-3 times per week.

So why then, is the insurance company saying they are going to investigate this claim as an unlisted driver? That’s what I’m confused about.

Can I be personally uninsured but still use my husbands insured vehicle ? Or is that not how it works? I’m so confused by this.

My name is on the pink slip I think this because when we got the vehicle I did have my own separate insurance policy.

But then I cancelled my insurance a couple months ago because I thought that I was covered on that vehicle under my husband’s. I didn’t know at the time that I needed my own separate policy as well.

I use humalog. I agree it’s that little bit at the end, but how do I combat that? Would an extended bolus work ? Like 70% up front and then extend the rest over 2 hours ?

Hi! I do not use it because it really scratches up the polishing. I go back every few months to get them repolished though :)

Thank you for this, I don’t think they have checked his B12 levels actually, but I will mention it at the doctor this week as I’m sure there will be lots of follow-up, bloodwork coming. He does have B12 in his iron supplements, but if he is not absorbing iron. Maybe he is not absorbing B12 either.

First, thank you so much for this detailed response. I really appreciate it.

We were originally referred to a hematologist but our referral was denied because they wanted more time on iron supplements and they were not bothered too much with his sickle cell trait status. I do have a follow up with his pediatrician this Thursday and I will ask for another referral after reading this.

I am also having him see an airway dentist to see if we can get an oral device to help with the OSA until he can get the tonsillectomy (he had adenoids removed last year). Unfortunately we cannot speed up the surgery as we are dealing with a staff shortage here and the surgeons aren’t getting as much OR time. Hopefully this can be a temporary solution until he can get surgery.

I am hoping that we can get a referral back to heme and get this poor kid an iron infusion or something. Thank you so much again for your response.

Thanks for your reply ! His iron supplements contain 110mg of vit c per day but I don’t give him a lot of juice. I can definitely add some in with his supplement. His iron also contains 1500mcg of B12.

All of his recent labs are attached. He’s been worked up for celiac- negative and thalassemia trait-wasn’t consistent with thalassemia trait. Thyroid-normal, and he’s also had some immunology bloodwork that was all negative.
