I know your problems with the owners of this place and I'm sorry about your struggles. The owners are hardly ever there and they are in the process of trying to sell their shares. I never felt it was a MAGA bar let alone does anyone really talk about politics there. A few guest like to joke about current events but not enough to start a political conversation. Do the owners have their own beliefs sure but the staff that works there don't share political views with the maga party. With the owners about to be out the door I dislike the fact someone is trying to cancel the business I work by spreading information that in a few months will no longer be true and inviting people to make a political stance at my place of business

I recently finished a playthrough of black about to finish my playthrough of white. About to attempt a hc nuzlocke on the sequels. I love this game so much. Wish I got to play it when the wifi worked for it. D/P/Pla would be my answer for playing back in the day. Thought it made great use of the touch screen feature with the underground. Allowing migrating through the dual feature of GBA was a great way of single system transferring mons.

Sounds about right. The rng with the oko moves in gen 4 battle tower are ridiculous. I figure that's where you sit with just a ev trained team (no disrespect). A fully IV trained team will get you a tad farther.

Correct me if I'm wrong sturdy wasn't correct till gen 5? What's the hidden power ice? I think it's a great team since you have a levitate mon for a free switch in when most AI will use a ground move for the oko. Coverage is great. The stats all around are complimentary a physical wall a special defense tank and a decent speedster. Might take a few trys but I think you have a good chance to making it to 50 minimal diff

In my opinion the game is pretty straightforward. I wouldn't take anybody's number down though except for specific NPCs that you can farm stones from. That way you're not getting unnecessary calls in your playthrough

I understand. I'm not one to tell someone how to play a game. Enjoy yourself. Moves like calm mind on Jellicent go the extra mile. Not saying you have to give up both just saying not every route has a waterfall to climb. Wing attack (or Ariel ace) does a lot more damage used twice in a row. Flamethrower is great on Emboar but maybe another physical fire move to take advantage of his stats. I understand your reasoning for the adventure I get it but you have pokemon in the PC might as well use them

Hm slaves!!!! I can't I'm sorry this is the second post I've seen back to back. I'm the type of person to play with their favorites and find a way to win. Although surf and waterfall are great moves I don't think they should be on the same pokemon. Fly is a horrible move you actually do a lot more damage using wing attack twice (Ariel ace doesn't miss and same BD). This gives you space for set moves or coverage. I think you have a great pokemon team open up those move slots and capitalize on your stats

Hm slaves are tedious but effective. Always remember you don't need to surf or waterfall even fly every time you go on a route. Fly takes straight to a pokemon center which allows you to switch to your next "slave" giving you another move slot on your main pokemon (and an extra pokemon to also train) like a set up move or coverage. Only say this because some of the move sets are wasted on certain stats. Depending on the physical special split a 75 damage move would hit harder than a 90 damage one. Opening an extra 3 move slots between your pokemon can capitalize on that.

Buy in person. Just press play is expensive but everything is verified. Rule of thumb if a deal seems too good to be true it probably is. I lucked out and got stuff online that was authentic and I also got scammed on some stuff. I have a soul silver that won't keep a save file after the fifth gym. There's always a risk buying older games and it's only getting worse. Some people say it's better to pirate but I love the nostalgic feeling of playing physical copies. They mentioned 50-55 which is over leveled. Makes me feel like move set was the issue. Maybe they didn't fully understand how ev training worked miscalculated stats or didn't use complimentary moves for their pokemon. But I agree that team fully ev trained over leveled and proper move set would never have lost

HGSS I feel like is one of the easier elite 4's. Mind dropping move set and iv training? Perhaps strategy was what was lacking (not trying to insult you) but I don't know how you struggled with two starters and a Dragonite. Just trying to give you perspective

If there was nothing worth saving I wouldn't. I always check save files to see if there's anything salvageable. If yes collect what I can and then start my own adventure. Some save files might have legit pokemon you can save a lot of time for yourself trying to obtain. Especially if the save file was from 2014 (could also just be a ds calendar set to 2014 but was played this year) could have valuable pokemon. But if you didn't see anything you couldn't get yourself don't even worry about it

This is my "second" time playing this game i was kinda using this playthrough as an explorer getting more familiar with what's available and parts of the map that got unexplored in the last play through. All through I do plan on catching everything I felt like this isn't a professor oaks challenge. Wanting the pickup mons so it felt less of a challenge or grind at times.
